VII Easter

| | Comments (0)
Today was filled with much excitement.  In preparation for Pentecost and Trinity Sunday, we have switched to an orthodox blend of incense.  With copious amounts of smoke.  So much so that immediately before the canon it set off the air conditioner in-line smoke detectors.   We're averaging about once a year for setting it off.

The closing voluntary today was Bach's famous Toccata and Fugue in d minor.  On  a one manual Hinners organ.  Hearing and watching something of such beautiful complexity played on a one manual organ is just an amazing thing.
